For Prime Citizens

You've lived a life. Decades of it.

Marriage, work, raising kids, losing people, starting over, figuring things out the hard way. All of that is still in you.

And there are people out there right now — of every age, in every situation — who would give a lot for one honest conversation with someone who has actually lived what they're facing.

Prime Citizens is a movement to bring people your age back to the center of the conversation, where you belong.

Not as advisors. Not as experts. As yourself — someone who has been there.

What we're asking

One conversation. On a topic you've lived and are comfortable talking about. With someone we introduce you to carefully.

In person if you're in or near Vancouver and willing. Video if you're not.

Sixty to ninety minutes.

Your name stays with your words, because it's your experience, not our content.

That's it.

What counts as a topic

Anything you've lived.

Work, love, money, illness, faith, family, loss, reinvention. Raising children. Burying parents. Moving countries. Starting over at forty, or at sixty.

There is no approved list and no menu of categories. If it's part of a life, it's part of this.

You choose what you're willing to talk about — and what you're not.

What we're not asking

We are not asking you to be a therapist. Or a coach. Or an expert.

We are not asking you to give advice, unless you want to.

We are not asking you to sign anything binding today.

We are not asking you to commit to anything beyond a first hello.

What is offered

A real conversation with someone who genuinely wants to hear from you.

A modest honorarium — we'll share the details in the follow-up. The point is not the money. The point is that what you've lived is being treated as valuable, because it is.

And the knowledge that what you've lived is being used — not filed away, not forgotten, not left to sit unused on a shelf.

Common questions

Do I need to be an expert on something?

No. Prime Citizens are not experts, and are not asked to be. You qualify by having lived decades of real life. Someone who has been there — that is the whole qualification.

What if my life doesn't feel remarkable?

It doesn't need to be remarkable. Marriage, work, money, illness, loss, starting over — ordinary life, fully lived, is exactly what people are looking for. If you're 65 to 80, you're carrying more of it than you likely give yourself credit for.

What would I actually talk about?

Whatever you've lived and are comfortable sharing. You choose the topic, and you can change your mind at any point. There is no approved list.

How much time does it take?

Sixty to ninety minutes, once. Sometimes there is a second conversation, by mutual choice. Nothing beyond that unless you want it.

Do I have to meet in person?

Only if you're in or near Vancouver and want to. Video works well, and many conversations happen that way.

Am I expected to give advice or fix anything?

No. You're there to be present, in a real conversation, with someone who wanted to hear from you. Advice is yours to give or withhold. Fixing is not the job. There is no job.

What happens after I say hello?

A real human — most likely Benjamin, our founder — reads what you sent and replies within a few days. There is no algorithm, no marketing list, and no rush.

Will anything I say be published?

No. Nothing you write or say is published or shared without your explicit, written permission. Your name stays with your words, and your words stay yours.

Say hello

Optional — a sentence is fine, a paragraph is fine, "I'll tell you when we speak" is also fine.

Optional — "Vancouver," "the Island," "Toronto," "somewhere else" — whatever's easiest.

Optional — Prime Citizens are aged 65 to 80.

A real human will read this and reply. There is no algorithm here. There is no marketing list. Reply when you like — there is no rush.

Thank you.

A real human — most likely Benjamin, our founder — will read what you sent and reply within a few days.

There is no next step you need to take right now.
