A Prime Citizen at his kitchen table, mid-conversation, gesturing.

A Prime Citizen

A Prime Citizen is someone between 65 and 80 years old.

You have lived a life. Not a life summary, not a highlight reel – the actual thing. Decades of work, marriage, raising kids, building things, losing people, starting over. Days that felt long and years that went too fast. Things you got right by choice and things you got right by accident. Things you got wrong and had to fix. The wisdom you acquired “the hard way” over several decades.

Somewhere along the way, the world forgot the value of decades of experience. Far too many people who need wise counsel are not aware that it is available and can be accessed easily. There is a new “generation gap” that is harming youth and elders equally. This community is dedicated to bridging that gap and thereby enriching the lives of its members.

You do not have to be an expert. You do not have to have written a book. You do not have to have a photograph-ready life story. You just have to have lived, honestly and with your eyes open, and be willing to sit down with one person who is facing a challenge you have already surmounted, and talk about it – the same way you would with a friend of a friend who happened to end up at your kitchen table.

We do the work of finding the right person. We handle the introduction. We stay out of the room. What happens in the conversation stays between the two of you.

If reading this makes you think I could do that —
you probably can.

What you share, and with whom

You are not on display.

When you raise your hand, you are not being added to a directory. You are not searchable. No one can look you up. There is no public profile of you anywhere.

When we have a match we think is right for you, you will hear from us directly — and it will be your call whether to move forward. If you say yes and the Knowledge Seeker says yes, both of you see a written description of the other person before the introduction call, prepared with your approval. First names only at that stage.

The details that make you you — your full name, your address, your phone number — stay with us until you have both agreed to meet in person. Then, and only then, we help the two of you exchange what you need to actually sit down together.

Your information is not sold. It is not shared with third parties. Prime Citizens is the custodian, and treats that role seriously.

What we ask of you

What we ask in return is that you consider this seriously. Not a signup. Not a subscription. A slow conversation with us first, and — if you decide to go further — one honest afternoon with one person who has come to you for real help. That is the whole exchange.

Tell us a little about yourself

A few words is enough. We will read what you send and reach out to set up a real conversation.

Participation is free during the pilot. You must be 18 or older to participate.

Thank you for reaching out.

Someone from our founding team will read what you sent and reach out within a week to set up a conversation. It will not be a form. It will be a phone call, a video call, or an in-person coffee — whatever suits you.

Thank you for reaching out. The Prime Citizen program is scoped to ages 65 to 80 for the pilot phase of the movement – a decision we may revisit as we grow. We will consider your registration, and we will be in touch if we think there is a place for a conversation with you.

In the meantime, if there is a Knowledge Seeker in your life who might benefit from Prime Citizens, please share the site with them.

What happens next

Someone from our founding team will read what you sent and reach out within a week to set up a conversation. It will not be a form. It will be a phone call, a video call, or an in-person coffee — whatever suits you.

If you ever want to stop hearing from us, reply to any of our emails and say so. That's all it takes.

Real people. Real experience. In conversation.
